What It’s Like to Work With Me
When people come to see me, they’ve usually already seen multiple providers. They’ve been told confusing things, given conflicting advice, or just brushed off completely. And they’re tired. Tired of not being heard, tired of being given cookie-cutter solutions, and tired of feeling like their concerns don’t matter.
So let’s start here: I will listen to you. Really listen — to your story, your symptoms, your gut instinct about what’s going on. That shouldn’t be rare, but in today’s medical system, it is.
Once I understand your story, I look at your whole body — head to toe. I’m not just zeroing in on the pelvic floor in isolation. We’ll talk about how you’re sleeping, how you’re managing stress, what kind of support you have at home, how your body is moving, and how all of that ties into your symptoms. This is truly holistic care, not in a vague “wellness” way, but in a practical, clinical way that respects the full complexity of being human — especially postpartum.
After your first session, I’ll follow up with a written summary of what we talked about, what we found, and what our plan is going forward. And you’ll continue to have access to me throughout your care — not just once a week during a session. I’m available by email for deeper conversations and by text for quick questions and support. You don’t have to wait until your next appointment to get help. That’s part of what makes this concierge-level care — it’s personal, it’s responsive, and it’s built around your real life.
This is not the typical twice-a-week-for-12-weeks kind of therapy. I usually see patients once a week, and sometimes even less, depending on what they need. Most of my patients start to feel a shift in their symptoms within just one to three visits. That’s possible because the care is so focused, so individualized, and so tailored to what your body actually needs — not a preset protocol.
Each session is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one. We cover a lot in that time — evaluation, hands-on work, movement, education — and then you have ongoing support between sessions. That means the care doesn’t stop when you walk out the door. You have time, access, and guidance to help you make meaningful change, not just short-term fixes.
And now let’s talk about movement. I will always prioritize it.
Too many people are told to stop moving. To avoid exercise. To stop lifting their kids. To wait and rest and do nothing. And it’s damaging. That fear around movement has kept so many women stuck — physically and emotionally. The truth is, avoiding activity doesn’t just shrink your life, it can make your symptoms worse over time.
Movement is part of the solution, not the problem. I’ll help you find ways to move that are safe, progressive, and meaningful. We’ll focus on strength, stability, and confidence — not just because it’s “good for you,” but because it directly impacts your recovery and long-term health.
And most importantly, your goals will always lead the way. I don’t treat MRI results or textbook diagnoses — I treat people. I want to know what you want from therapy. Whether it’s picking up your toddler, returning to exercise, having pain-free intimacy, or just not worrying about your bladder every time you leave the house — those goals shape everything we do.
You also get to decide how much time and energy you can realistically give to this process. I’ll meet you there. This work only matters if it fits into your actual life, not some ideal version of it.
This is not generic healthcare. This is not “come in for six visits and hope for the best.” This is highly individualized, relationship-based, and designed to get results — not just in your body, but in your day-to-day life.
If you’re ready for that kind of care — where you’re heard, supported, and treated like the expert on your own body — I’d love to work together.
